Welcome to Maddrumming.com

Drumming, one of the most self-taught musical disciplines on the planet, so seemingly simple yet it also has its secrets. Like anything else, ‘good’ drumming has its roots in some of the most uncomplicated cornerstones which hide in plain sight. These are usually the things that the student doesn’t want to do! Oh well, hopefully, that’s what you’re here to find out.

Most concepts, methods and philosophies in here have been boiled down from over 30 years of one-on-one tuition. Focusing on things that work and observing the principles of building a great drumming foundation as well as taking the ideas and teachings from many of the greats who have gone before us, so guess what, it’s mostly rudiment based and it’s really important to enjoy this process. That’s the aim.

Maddrumming.com has been a long time in the making and is really aimed at the beginner and intermediate student initially but also has plenty of stuff for the advanced and pro players.

It’s safe to say that you won’t need or use 100% of the content here but it’s also likely that 100% of you will find plenty to keep you busy! With that in mind, we’ll be super busy at this end adding content regularly. What’s available right now is just the tip of the iceberg.
